VIP Tec Diving Announces Dates for BONAIRE CCR SUMMIT 2026 !!

VIP Tec Diving, the leading tec diving shop on Bonaire, has announced the dates for the 2026 BONAIRE CCR SUMMIT !!  Join other CCR divers for a week of diving in the warm, clear waters of Bonaire during this exciting CCR event !!

VIP Tec Diving and Dive Friends have teamed up to create a unique opportunity for both shore and boat CCR diving.  Daily guided CCR dives are planned for Bonaire’s best tec dive sites. Along with daily visits to Bonaire’s best-known wreck, the Hilma Hooker, at 30m/100ft,  multiple trips are planned to the Windjammer, Bonaire’s signature deep shipwreck at 60m/200ft and Red Slave to explore long-lost slave ship/salt ship anchors in 45m/150ft to 120m/400ft water.   

Divers with all brands and configurations of rebreathers are welcome !!  There will be fixed price options for all the tanks, sorb & O2 needed for the week … Trimix dil and bailout fixed price also available … one price gets it all for the entire week !!

The plan for this signature CCR even on Bonaire is:

• Saturday evening, May 16 … kick off reception at VIP Tec Diving … participants meet each other, the VIP Diving & Dive Friends hosts, the featured guests and enjoy drinks & snacks, event t-shirts, etc.
• Sunday, May 17 … pick up rebreather bottles, sorb, bailout bottles, etc … equipment prep and optional guided dive(s) … opportunity to sign up for optional “featured dives” including boat dives to Klein Bonaire, Hilma Hooker dives, Red Slave dives, and Windjammer dives. 
• Monday, May 18 … diving day … guided shore dives and boat dives to featured dive sites with featured guests or CCR-trained VIP Tec Diving staff.  Evening presentation on Great Lakes CCR diving and Bonaire shore diving sites specifically suitable for CCR divers.
• Tuesday, May 19 … diving day … guided shore dives and boat dives to featured dive sites with featured guests or CCR-trained VIP Tec Diving staff.
• Wednesday, May 20 … diving day … guided shore dives and boat dives to featured dive sites with featured guests or CCR-trained VIP Tec Diving staff.  A “Windjammer dive day” by boat for qualified CCR divers.  Evening presentation by Hollis factory rep on history of Prism2 CCR, tips & techniques for diving Prism2, taking care of your Prism2, etc.
• Thursday, May 21 … diving day … guided shore dives and boat dives to featured dive sites with featured guests or CCR-trained VIP Tec Diving staff.  A “Windjammer dive day” by boat for qualified CCR divers. 
• Friday, May 22 … final CCR Summit diving day … guided shore dives and boat dives to featured dive sites with featured guests or CCR-trained VIP Tec Diving staff.  Evening BBQ dinner organized at Hamlet resort, including raffles for prizes, participant videos, fun evening with drinks & BBQ dinner.
