The Education of a Cave Diver

Long-time cave diver Guy Bryant has recently published his book “The Education of a Cave Diver” on Amazon.

This book recounts his 50 years of cave exploration, both dry and immersed caves, as he takes the reader through his early ventures into caves, scuba, and eventually cave diving. Since there weren’t many available cave diving courses in the 1970s, one generally learned from others, figured things out, or survived mistakes. Guy recounts his adventures – good, bad, and dangerous – and the mentorship of friends and more experienced cave divers he met along his journey. This book is filled with some of the early history of cave diving, harrowing and humorous tales, decompression antics, fantastic photography, and more.
