Steve Bogaerts

Steve was a modern day pioneer of sidemount and cave diving. Formerly based in Mexico, Steve was a key player of the exploration of all three of the worlds longest underwater cave systems, Ox Bel Ha, Nohoch Nah Chich, and Dos Ojos. He retired from diving as a result of decompression illness. He is credited with playing a large part in developing the “Mexico style” of sidemount diving. The inventor of the Razor sidemount system, Steve was an avid and prominent equipment manufacturer. Think Bogaerthian!
