Meet The New Scientific Director of NEDU
Global Underwater Explore (GUE) diver, cave explorer, and world-recognized diving physiologist David Doolette has taken on a new role as Scientific Director of the U.S. Navy Experimental Diving Unit (NEDU) in Panama City, Florida. Although he also retains his role as a Diving Research Physiologist, he is now officially responsible for the broad planning, scientific integrity, and ethical conduct of the scientific program at the world’s premier diving research, development, test, and evaluation institution. He will also focus on recruitment, retention, and training of scientific staff. If you are a diver with a postgraduate STEM degree, a U.S. citizen, and interested in influencing the way the world dives, he would be interested in hearing from you.
David Doolette’s official email is [email protected].
