WE ARE BACK! ATTEND THE GUE CONFERENCE THE WEEKEND BEFORE DEMA

High Springs, FL September 22nd, 2022—GUE invites you to join us as we celebrate 23 years of education, exploration, and conservation at the Hilton University of Florida Conference center in Gainesville, Florida. The conference takes place on October 29-30 and boasts presentations from leading explorers, instructors, and dive industry professionals, along with hands-on workshops, social events, and plenty of diving.
Registration is still open, and all divers are welcome!
The GUE conference takes place the weekend before DEMA, which will be held just down the highway in Orlando. GUE’s conference is a great way to begin your trip to DEMA.
Conference festivities will kick off Friday morning in High Springs with a Fun Run open to everyone. Friday evening, join us for a social event to greet old friends and make new ones.
Saturday’s presentations will take place at the Gainesville Hilton, where conference attendees will enjoy an insider’s view of GUE’s new pilot Project Diver program. This unique opportunity includes access to Core Module presentations from leading educators, scientists, and explorers. Saturday night, join us for a social with a cocktail hour and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
Sunday provides the option to go diving or participate in additional educational presentations at a new venue in High Springs. Afterward, we’ll close the conference with a Halloween party and bonfire. We hope to see you here!

Global Underwater Explorers, a US 501(c)(3), began with a group of divers whose love of underwater exploration grew naturally into a passion for protecting these environments. In 1998, they created a unique organization dedicated to high-quality diver education and support for aquatic conservation while working to safely expand exploration of the underwater world.
