DIVING TALKS: Explorers R’Us!
Since its inception in 2021, DIVING TALKS, the annual conference based in Lisbon, Portugal—has engaged the global sports diving community in a widening series of conversations on diving, safety, conservation, underwater photography, and filmmaking.
However, this last year, in its fourth edition, the diving equivalent of famous TED Talks decidedly went tech—15 of its 23 speakers were tech and cave explorers, including a number of individuals who have pushed our collective underwater envelope in both distance and depth. What’s more, half of these explorers were women!
Accordingly, DIVING TALKS teamed up with InDEPTH to create a special panel to discuss exploration, with some of the leading explorers on the planet. Here’s what they had to say!
