ABOUT US
Since 1990, Scilla Diving Center has revealed the underwater wonders of Scilla to the world, guiding thousands of divers on the waves of adventure. It is one of the most famous and longstanding dive centers in Italy, well known for the beauty of its dive sites, its picturesque setting, its professionalism and its friendly environment.

WHERE WE ARE
We are located in the neighborhood of Chianalea, the ancient fishing area of Scilla, a picturesque place that still preserves its atmosphere. After diving, you can have a walk through the narrow and charming streets, visit the Castle, and enjoy traditional local food.

FACILITIES and COURSES
SDC has a beautiful and scenic terrace that overlooks the sea.
Given the short distance to the dive sites, we use practical rubber boats, from which you will embark directly from the dive center, allowing you to be underwater in just a few minutes.
At Scilla Diving Center, you can store your equipment, rinse it, and rent what you might need.
We offer a full list of scuba courses (RAID), from recreational to technical, from open water to
trimix and instructor.

UNDERWATER
The Strait of Messina, has always been referred to as the ‘Paradise of Zoologists’. Thanks to its famous and mythological currents, here is an explosion of life and color, in a crystal clear water:
forest of bicolored gorgonians (Paramuricea clavata) and black coral (Antipathella subpinnata);
huge and ancient branches of Savalia savaglia; historical and numerous shipwrecks; sponges,
anemones, nudibranchs of all shapes and colors; a wide variety of fish, even some abyssal species
that due to the conformation of the seabed and the currents, rise from the depths… An underwater world that you won’t forget.
