ProTec Dive Centers has been providing innovative and industry leading technical dive training since 2001.
We specialize in overhead training and cave diving, exploration and CCR diving. Our team of international instructors teaches in several languages and are active in local and international exploration, scientific diving and equipment testing and design.

Our training centers are the biggest hub of Kiss Sidewinder CCR training in Mexico with three factory approved CCR Instructors, a CCR dedicated facility, CCR supplies and retail, support and storage, and rental units.

We also provide guided dives for certified divers of all levels, from recreational cavern tours to Cave CCR, trimix and DPV diving in the Mexican cenotes.

Where is ProTec Dive Centers located?

You are welcome to visit us in Playa del Carmen or Tulum.
Who can train at ProTec Dive Centers?

Any certified diver can book training at ProTec Dive Centers. Our team will provide the most adequate training and progression plan for your level. Our entry level courses such as Sidemount or ABC allow recreational divers to join the technical diving world taught by our experienced instructors in a friendly atmosphere while experienced divers can improve their skills and abilities by taking part in cave diving training, deep training, trimix, CCR or even cave survey and exploration workshops.
Why train at ProTec Dive Centers?

We have comfortable training facilities with our own filling station, air conditioned classrooms and retail area. We also provide accommodation on site, making the training experience comfortable and accessible for our divers. Our team of ten full time guides and instructors are active divers and explorers who breathe, eat and dream of cave diving. Together, we have dived and explored caves in dozens of countries, and continue to implement our practical knowledge into our training and courses to provide you with themost updated techniques and procedures in the industry.
What is the certifying agency of ProTec Dive Centers?

PSAI Mexico is the agency we work with at ProTec Dive Centers.
Can I train in Backmount at ProTec Dive Centers?

All our instructors and guides use both sidemount, Backmount and CCR configurations. All cave training can be conducted in the preferred configuration of the student.
